Swallowing policy

Policy for the Management of People with Swallowing Difficulties as a result of oropharyngeal dysphagia.

The aim of this policy is to support staff awareness of the needs of people with oro-pharyngeal difficulties. Promoting holistic person centred and individualised risk where care is considered equally in terms of both medical management and the persons well being.
