About Practice Education

We are registered professionals with backgrounds in fields of nursing and midwifery and our team is comprised of Practice Education Facilitators (PEFs) and Care Home Education Facilitators (CHEFs), who bring a wealth of experience and dedication to supporting the workforce. Our service is primarily focused on making positive impacts on the experiences and outcomes of patients and those who access our health and care services. As described in our NHSGGC Practice Education Vision and Mission statements, these impacts are achieved through providing education and learning support for nurses, midwives, and their support workers across the Career Framework for Health, enabling them to deliver evidence-informed care that is safe, person-centred and effective.
